If you’ve purchased a used bike, tell us how it went in the comments below. And if you’ve sworn to never buy used, tell us why!
With minor alterations, a used bike that catches a fella’s imagination can be freakin’ awesome.
That used bike unleashes adventure like no other.
People that lack imagination don’t realize the friendship a bicycle has to offer!
I bought a way better bike than my budget could afford by buying used. The seller was a mechanic at my LBS, who built bikes and sold them to friends after he got a year or two out of them. I paid about 1/3 of what the bike would have cost new, and because I knew the seller, I had no worried about surprises. Rides great and looks awesome.
